Choosing a church home is a very important decision and we believe that it should be an informed decision.

The Newcomer’s Class is highly recommended for people who want to learn more about Beargrass and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The class is taught by our Senior Minister, Dr. Leigh Bond.  The discussions during the  3 to 4 class sessions focus on the strengths of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a brief history of the denomination, worship practices (with an emphasis on baptism and communion), and ways to get involved in the life and ministries of the church.

The class is offered several times a year, usually during the Sunday School hour at 10:00 am or as one of the electives during our Wednesday night programs at 6:30 pm. The next class will be offered October 12 – 30.
