Beargrass is committed to providing quality care for our youngest members. Our ARK wing (Always Reaching Kids) is open from 8:30-12:30 each Sunday morning for children from infancy through kindergarten. (Childcare is also available during Saturday worship, Wednesday programming, and other special events.)

Paid caregivers and volunteers help to maintain a safe and fun environment for all children. Children are divided into age-appropriate rooms. Fun activities are available for the children as their parents attend worship and Sunday School.

Upon boarding the ARK, all parents are asked to complete a basic form that provides the child’s age, allergies, medical information, basic parental information, and list of people who are authorized to pick up the children. Parents are expected to sign children in and out each time they visit the ARK wing.

Special activities are available during the journey. During the 10:00 am hour, children ages 2 through 5K participate in Sunday School programs in their rooms. During the 11:00 am traditional worship hour, an ARK storyteller visits the children in their rooms to tell some wonderful Bible stories.
