Wednesday Evening Schedule

Media Center

5:00-8:00 pm – The Church Media Center is open.

Pizza Dinner Reservations

A pizza dinner is served in Chalice Hall from 5:30-6:30.  Reservations need to be made by 10:00 am each Wednesday morning, and reservations can be found online.  Discounts are available for those that purchase a monthly or semester meal plan.

Adults

Adult Worship and Reflection – 6:30 pm – February 29 – March 28 (Chapel)

  • God, Make Us Whole – Wednesday evenings in Lent will offer the opportunity for worship and reflection on the ways God works with our broken places to make us whole. We’ll begin with a short worship service in the chapel , followed by a breakout time for reflection groups. The groups will then reconvene for a community sending forth. Focus scriptures will be drawn from the Gospel of Mark. Group leaders will include Susan Lowe and John Hull

Newcomers Class – 6:30 pm – Wednesday, March 7, 14, 21 (Conference Room) and 10:00 am Sunday, March 4, 11, 18 (Chapel)

  •   This class offers an introduction to the Christian Church (Dsicples of Christ) and the mission and ministries of Beargrass Christian Church. It is recommended for anyone who is looking for a church home and supportive Christian Community. To register for the class email  Dr. Leigh Bond or call the church office at 896-1161.

Healthy Lifestyles – 6:30 pm, March 7, 14, 21 (Fellowship Hall

  • Contact Mary Wheatley for more information or to register for the class at (502) 221-0505. The cost of the class is $10 per person per session.

Prayer in Motion

  • Youth and Children are invited to the gym for a time of Prayer in Motion from 6:10 until 6:30 pm

Youth

Pizza Meal−5:30-6:30 pm

Youth are invited and encouraged to eat with the rest of our church family in Chalice Hall. Reserve a pizza meal (pre-purchase online by Wednesday morning at 10:00 am) or bring your own food.

Chi Rho and CYF  Study – 6:30 pm (Youth Space)

All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join Kelley in the Youth Space for Words, Words, Words; A Journey

The Handbell Choir and Bible Studies are directed by Steven Straub.
