Hi all,
Those of you who were not with us on Sunday really missed a treat! We joined the Agape class to first learn from Mike Puckett about the life of the Burmese who escaped first from their country to live for many years in a camp in Thailand before they made their way to the United States. We then got to hear from our refugee family’s interpreter about her life in the camp and then, here. It was extremely informative and humbling when I realize how we take our life here in the U.S. for granted. Our refugee family seems to be adjusting well to their life here and the children are in school. Their next hurdle is finding a job for the father who is a welder by trade.
Our class has been in charge of the church flower planting the last several years and we are considering the date of May 12from 12:00 to 2:00. If you are available to help, please let Nancy Wilson or me know.
Barbara Clark is back at the podium this Sunday combining her skills as a professor with her excellent grasp of spiritual topics. Come join us.

Hi all,
We had a great turnout in class on Sunday with 25 in attendance. Our class was led by Barbara Clark on “Amazement” and we broke into 2 groups to discuss the existence of modern day miracles and prophets. We look forward to Barbara leading our class again on April 29.
Lanna sent out an email already, but just a reminder that we will be joining the Agape class this Sunday to meet our refugee family and hear from them through an interpreter.
Hope to see you then!

Hi Everyone,
We had a good turn out yesterday for Easter! Missy taught on the subject, “what does Jesus mean to you”. We had a good discusssin on what would have happened without the resurrection.
Barbara Clark will be teaching the next two weeks, and I know you will want to be there. ‘ Hoping everyone who was traveling is back safe and sound. Keep Sherry in your prayers.

Hi all!
Our class will be led this Sunday by Missy Aultman. She always has wonderful ideas for topics, so be sure to attend for a meaningful Genesis Easter experience.
Thanks to all who signed up to provide food for the Ballerstedt family as they mourn the loss of Linda’s mother, Elaine Browning. Also, our thoughts and prayers go to Susan Vance, Rick and Alissa as they mourn the loss of Susan’s mother, Jane Tredway. A private graveside service will be held this weekend in Cincinnati. Susan Lowe and Lanna will keep us apprised of how we may be of support to the family.
Blessings for a meaningful Holy Week and Happy Easter!
Elaine
