The Disciples
Women's Ministries is divided into small groups designated as Circles,
which generally meet monthly—September through June.
Prayer
Group
Our
prayer group meets on Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. in the Chapel under the
leadership of Dr. Rex Cox. It is open to any who would like to join.
We also have an
E-mail prayer group. If you have a personal E-mail account and would
like to spend some time in prayer each week on behalf of those who have
requested the prayers, then you may want to join a Circle of Prayer
via E-mail. Each week a prayer list will be E-mailed to you. (Remember
the prayer requests may be of a confidential nature and should not be
shared with others or forwarded to other people.) If you are interested,
please E-mail Susan Lowe, and
let her know you would like to join the Circle of Prayer.
Evergreens,
a group of senior
citizens hosted at Beargrass, meets the third Wednesday of each month
in the activities building. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. The members
play cards and socialize. Lunch is served at noon. For reservations
or for more information, contact Susan Lowe (susan@beargrass.org). The
reservation deadline is noon the Monday before the meeting.
