Sunday Morning

Young Children (0–K): The ARK

An extensive ministry of Childcare and Sunday School programs are available for young children (birth through kindergarten) from 8:15 am through 12:15 pm on Sunday mornings. Staffed by a professional coordinator and a combination of caregivers and volunteers the first floor, south wing of the education building has seven classrooms for younger children. 11:00 a.m. Worship Services: Following the children's moment in church, first through third graders can attend a children's worship program led by Steven Straub, our children's ministry coordinator. Children's bulletins and art supply kits are available in a basket in the sanctuary lobby.

Junior Youth Group (3rd-5th grades): a youth group designed for juniors. Activities include games, Bible study, service projects, drama and monthly outings. The group focuses on community building as well as spiritual, moral, and social development. The group meets in the Upper Room on Sundays from 5:00-6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted..

April 27: Bible Trivia Night. We'll be playing lots of fun games to test our Bible Trivia.
May 4: Putt-Putt. Meet in the JYF room at 12:15 p.m. We will go out to lunch and then head to the Putt-Putt in Fern Creek. We will return to church between 3:30 & 4:00 p.m. Cost is $10 per person.
May 11: No JYF. Mother's Day
May 18: Solid Rock Cafe. Come support your fellow cast members. Dinner starts at 5:00 p.m. with the performance at 6:30 p.m.
May 25: No JYF. Memorial Day Weekend.

Parents Day Out: Beargrass Christian Church has a Parents Day Out program that meets on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. We have classes for children from 4 months through 4 years. The children have the opportunity of playing and learning with other children. For more information call Kathy Wise, director, at 425-2494.
