Dr. Leigh E. Bond, Senior Minister
Leigh joined the staff in January 1997 after a ten-year ministry in Waco, Texas. Leigh earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees at Brite Divinity School. His ministry focuses on preaching, worship, and evangelism. Leigh also oversees the staff.
Dr. John Hull
Dr. John Hull, Minister of Faith Development
John came to Beargrass in 1998. He previously served churches in Georgia and California and taught university-level biblical studies in California and Texas. John holds a PhD in Hebrew Bible from Claremont Graduate University. He overseas adult and children’s ministries and Bible studies and is our computer expert. He teaches occasional courses at Lexington Theological Seminary as Adjunct Professor of Hebrew Bible.
Rev. Susan Lowe
Rev. Susan Lowe, Minister of Congregational Care
Susan joined our staff in 2007 after previously serving eight years at St. Matthews United Methodist Church. She has a bachelors in sociology from Furman University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education with an emphasis in Youth Ministry and Social Work from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Susan finished a Master of Divinity Equivalency at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary where she is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry Program. She oversees congregational care of the church family and assimilation of members into the ministries of the church.
Rev. Kelley Dick
Rev. Kelley Dick, Minister of Youth and Young Adults
Kelley joined our staff in 2011 after serving at Bowling Green First Christian Church (DOC). Kelley is a native of Bardstown, Kentucky, and graduated from Eureka College and Lexington Theological Seminary. Kelley loves going to the gym, running, and spinning, and all kinds of music. Kelley oversees the the programs for youth and young adults.
